The rest of our trip to New Zealand and Australia absolutely flew by, and the warm creams and cool sages gave way to the brilliant turquoises, lush greens and sodium glows of coastal Taranaki and subtropical Brisbane.
Top Row: Sunset in New Plymouth from the porch of Mrs. Dorothy Anderson (more on her later); Mokau road in Taranaki; St. John’s Cathedral in Brisbane. Middle Row: A long track we hiked to get some shots in Tongaporutu; easily the highlight of my trip — an evening spent with Jose, Kieran, and Nick (not pictured), Tumblrs who I’ve spent the last six years or so reading, and yet was in no way prepared for how charming and wonderful they would be in real life; Weston walking down the track in Tongaporutu. Bottom Row: Around the corner from the Three Sisters in Tongaporutu and looking out over the North Taranaki Bight; Stanley Street on the South Bank in Brisbane; and typical home architecture around Brisbane.
It was an incredible trip, but I am glad to be home. Things are piling up with the new house and I’m anxious to get moved in.
