Had a crazy opportunity to jet out to NYC this weekend to test a product for work at an Irish Festival out on Rockaway Beach. More than anything I was just excited to get to hang out with Landon all weekend — I've been missing my Utah friends hard lately. We got to stay down near Greenwich, which was a first for me. I've only ever stayed out in Brooklyn or way up on the upper east side. It was great getting to slip out of the grid for a while, and walk around all the incredible townhomes in the mews. While I was out there, Landon and I had lunch with Dan and Jillian and their son Grey, who's the absolute cutest.
I also got to stop by the washroom at the GLBT center that Keith Haring painted in 1989 — such an incredible piece, and truly moving to see it in person. I also dragged Landon over to the Christopher Street Pier on our way to Printed Matter on the west side, to pay what he called "homoge."
